The best holidays I've ever had were going to Cuba. It wasn't many years ago, and it was my first time going out of the country. It was really impressive to visit a place that's so different from what I had ever seen.

We started at the end of April 2019, and we spent there ten days. I went with my mother and two of her friends. What I liked the most, was knowing people, everyone was so different from anyone I had met before. And it was really easy that people started to talk to you. I think myself as someone shy, but there, people encouraged me to talk without my usual boundaries, just by being nice and sociable.

We only went to La Habana and Varadero. My favorite place was La Habana, I think it's a beautiful city which mixes a tropical landscape with a vintage buildings and cars. I really enjoyed taking pictures there. We stayed in a not touristic neighborhood, and despite it was kind of distanced from the center of the city I enjoyed it more than visiting touristic places.  

Varadero was more like a place to enjoy de beach, and resting from the long walks we had in La Habana. I liked it, but I would have spent that time in cities that I find more interesting.

It was a experience I'll never forget, and I really expect to come back with more time. Here I leave you a picture from La Habana, my favorite from the trip.
